Spray race design and Construction

Assen ventures cattle spray race has been developed to provide the cattle owner with an efficient and economical unit. Its high throughput of spray, specially designed nozzles of large aperture, excellent spray coverage and ease of attachment ,give thorough overall wetting of cattle of all ages, size and breed, and the improved filter system ensures trouble free service.

Our cattle spray race makes it possible to deal with up to 700 cattle an hour and avoids many problems  of dipping in the traditional plunge dipping system. The use of freshly prepared dip wash on each occasion ensures the maximum efficiency of the modern synthetic insecticides, which may be alternated at will without unduly heavy expenditure.

Hydrogeological surveys for bore hole drilling

This involves a hydro-geologist visiting the site to establish the most suitable drilling site, from our site visit an initial idea of whether the water-bearing aquifer will yield the quantity of water required will be established. The visiting engineer look for all the options to ensure that our client get the correct spot good yielding borehole that satisfy the client’s need.

Water source development ( borehole drilling )

Borehole by definition is  a deep, narrow hole made in the ground, especially to locate water or oil.

Borehole water can be used for;

  • Irrigation
  • Home use
  • Poultry, livestock and aquaculture
  • Industrial and municipal use

Special machinery is used to drill deep into the earth’s surface. While the depth of an average borehole ranges between 0m – 150m, it can vary greatly from one borehole to another.

Once the borehole has been drilled, the necessary unstable lengths of the borehole are cased in an effort to reinforce the ‘tube’.

Hand dug wells pump installation

This one of method of obtaining groundwater in rural and town areas of the developing world, and still the most common. However, because they are dug by hand, their use is restricted to suitable types of ground such as clays, sands, gravels and mixed soils where only small boulders are encountered. The volume of the water in the well below the standing water table acts as a reservoir which can meet demands on it during the day and should replenish itself during periods when there is no abstraction. One of the water abstraction method is by submersible water pump installed in the well.

Electrical pump installation

Our electrical submersible  and surface water pumps need power from a generator or electrical supply to pump water. A single phase pump needs 220 – 240 Volts; a three phase pump needs 380 – 400 Volts. For each borehole, a specific type of submersible pump according to the well yield and the water dynamic depth is recommended to be installed depending on pump test report for respective borehole.

We install systems for small  and large scale systems depending on the demand.

Most peasant agriculture depends on rain as a source of water/moisture for the soil, and scarcity of rainfall often results in widespread crop failure and famine. Unfortunately, over the last few decades, climate change has meant that rainfall patterns have become unpredictable. The frequent crop failure has resulted in widespread food shortages, famine, and death.  Therefore, Assen ventures ltd has developed and installed irrigation systems at relatively low cost affordable by most farmers in Uganda and beyond. We design systems ranging from surface, sprinkler and drip irrigation systems
